Sneak Peek “Jak” review from a mom

Here’s a “Jak and the Scarlet Thread” review from a mom of five kids. Not sure how she found the time to read the pre-release copy, but I’m glad she did!

“Finally a fantasy book I can feel good about my children reading! …actually causes the reader, kids included, to consider what it was really like when Bible ‘stories’ happened and then go on to a deeper understanding of the theological implications. Brilliant.”
–Kristin G., mom

“Jak and the Scarlet Thread” is the first of a Biblical fantasy adventure series that will take readers through the entire Bible. It’s geared toward tweens and young adults, but my hope is that anyone who likes Narnia will like “Jak” too.

Sneak Peek “Jak” Review from a 12-year old

Here’s what a 12-year old boy had to say after reading a pre-release issue of  “Jak and the Scarlet Thread.”

”I’ve read a lot of fantasy books in my life. I love to read. However Jak and The Scarlet Thread is by far my favorite book of all. It is full of adventure, fantasy, and a little bit of Christianity. The cool thing about it is if I wasn’t a Christian I wouldn’t be able to tell if it was a Christian book or not.”

–Cully H., age 12, Minnesota

I love this! One of my goals with the “Jak” series is to come through the back door so kids discover God and His plan to rescue us without even realizing it. I should get the final electronic version of “Jak” back from the publisher this week. The hard copies are not far away!
