I just got this email from my friend Brent about “Jak and the Scarlet Thread,” and wanted to pass it along.

I wanted to let you know that yesterday I finished reading Jak. It took me only 16 days, and that is given my unbelievably busy schedule. I absolutely devoured the book and loved every minute of it. It was so good! I am proud of you for allowing God to work through you. I loved the multiple sub-plots, the unexpected surprises, and how it introduced biblical concepts in new ways. I was really struck by what El designed before the fall and how different the world is that we live in today. I was frustrated by how hesitant they were to trust El and then realized I am the same way.
I can’t wait to read the coming books. Thank you for the blessing of the first one.
