Bone Marrow Biopsy Part 2, 8/12/10

The bone marrow biopsy is done  and I had a very nice nap while Dr. Basu did it. They extracted a small column of bone and marrow from my right hip which they will test for the presence of lymphoma. Feels like a bruise, but should heal up fast.

This will set a baseline for future bone marrow biopsies to see how quickly the lymphoma is growing or declining. The next step is to meet with Dr. Basu in the next couple of weeks and look at the blood test results.

It’s a good day. The sun is shining and I feel good.
